Tombstone operation is handled on the CNC machine with a
macro.
1 Use CAMit and generate the CNC code for a single
block.
2 Use the CNC machine tombstone macro to generate
the corresponding
CNC code per required number
of tombstone blocks set up.

CAMit always uses depth to tool tip.
When you export MDTools data to CAMit, the program exports
the cavity dimensions as is and CAMit calculates the depth
to tip for all depths entered as $STEP# in the CAMit Manufacturing
library.
