When creating and inserting Parts List, some Item IDs change to a default value "1". |
When you insert a Parts List by selecting all the items into a drawing, then delete the blank items using the Edit Parts List command. Then, on updating the Parts List, the item IDs for some items change to a default value "1" even though they have different item IDs in the actual schematic.
Avoid this bug by not using the Edit Parts List command to delete rows in the Parts List.
Use Microsoft Visio : Edit menu > Select Open Group.
1. Select the Parts List in the drawing.
2. Microsoft Visio : Edit menu > Select Open Group
The parts list is opened in a separate window.
3. Select and delete the rows you want to remove from the parts list.
4. Close the Group window.
