The dashes of the line do not have correct spacing or display Continuous. (Applicability HyDraw CAD 2019/2020)

When the foreign dwg drawing (not created using AutoCAD or HyDrawCAD) is opened in HyDraw CAD, then following are recommended for using HyDraw Connection lines and Symbols.

HyDraw CAD uses

• DASHED Linetype for Drain and Control connection lines.

• PHANTOM Linetype for Envelope.

To make the Linetype per HyDraw, follow the given steps:

1. Type LINETYPE in the Command Line.

The Linetype Manager dialog displays.

2. Select DASHED and change the Global scale factor to-

• 0.125 for Inch

• 4 for mm

3. Click Load.

The Linetype Manager dialog displays.

4. Select the DASHED linetype from the HyDraw.lin file.

5. Click OK.

The Linetypes - Reloaded Linetypes dialog displays.

6. Select Reload the linetype, DASHED.

7. Type REGEN in the Command line.

Repeat the same process for PHANTOM linetype.
